Tony Rosenbum

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, CWO3 Tony D. Rosenbum enlisted in the Marine Corps right out of high school. Although he was spirited, he did not have the self-discipline needed to be successful. Taking after his grandfather, he decided the United States Marine Corps would be the place to teach him the fundamentals of discipline and leadership. Rosenbum went to Boot Camp in September of 1986 and from that moment, and the ones that quickly followed, changed his life forever. He served 20 years as a Marine and spent half his time as an enlisted Marine and half his time as an Officer. He began his career as a wireman, became a utilities chief and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer. During his 20 years in the Marine Corps, Rosenbum served in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Drill Instructor Duty, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and has earned many honors along the way. During his later years in the Marine Corps, Tony was more focused on the planning, execution and follow-on training in the logistics and mobilization areas of large scale planning. His most recent activity had him serving as a Program Manager for a high valued customer in Afghanistan providing the necessary guidance and leadership to their customer- the US Government.

He says he enjoyed being a Drill Instructor because it gives him the "greatest impact and influence over a group of people in a short amount of time." Since his role as a Drill Instructor in the Fox TV reality series, "Boot Camp”, "Celebrity Boot Camp" and The Discovery Channel’s “Could You Survive”, Rosenbum has been getting many requests for public speaking, commercial sponsorships, and other special appearances. This popularity provided the opportunity to him to form his company, Motova8 Inc., and work towards providing organizations the tools they need to motivate their employees and increase their bottom lines. Since that day, many companies and organizations have been Motova8ed by DI Rosenbum and his superior team.

In the midst of a hectic schedule, Rosenbum committed time to earning a bachelor's degree in management and is working on his master's degree. His company Motova8 (Mental Toughness, Opportunity, Training, Obstacles, Values, Attitude, Education and Discipline) is the perfect combination of Marine Corps principals and traits combined with a business platform- one like no other!

Over the last few years, Tony had been a main driver in the Program Management field assisting companies in the development, start-up and completion of US Government contracts. Spearheading programs and building a solid high-performing team is what Tony does best. He never misses the opportunity to share with others the importance of education. Rosenbum is currently residing in Southern California.
